How heavy is polymer clay?

Polymer clay is VERY lightweight. It's a great material for big earrings because of that. I have forgotten to take my larger earrings off before bed; that's how comfy they are!

Are all of your products hypoallergenic?

All product listings have details about what metals are used for that specific item, but Stark & Whimsy uses stainless steel, sterling silver, and gold-filled findings that do not cause irritation for most people. If you are looking for something with titanium findings, please send an email to hannah@starkandwhimsy.com and I will be happy to help!

How should I store jewelry?

The best way to keep Stark & Whimsy jewelry looking great is to store it in a closed container like a jewelry box or bag. Each piece of jewelry is shipped with a plastic storage bag, which is great for preventing tarnish when you aren't wearing it!

How do I clean polymer clay jewelry?

Stark & Whimsy jewelry is intended to last a very long time, which means it can also stand up to a good bath! To clean polymer clay jewelry, use mild soap and warm water, or wipe down with rubbing alcohol. If the metal findings become tarnished with time, you can shine them with a polishing cloth.

Warning! Acetone (nail polish remover) will dissolve polymer clay components and should not be used for cleaning. 

Do you take commissions for custom work?

I am not currently taking commissions for custom work. 

Do you sell clip-ons?

Stark & Whimsy has clip-ons! Some earring styles have customization options which allow you to select a clip-on instead of an ear wire. If you would like any assistance finding the right pair of clip-ons, please email hannah@starkandwhimsy.com

Policies

Returns & Exchanges

Jewelry that is designed for piercings is not returnable.

All other items: If you are not completely satisfied with a recent purchase, you can return the item within 30 days of purchase. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping and the item(s) must be in their original condition.

​Note: All returns-eligible jewelry is cleaned upon receipt before being restocked.

If there are any missing or damaged items in your order, please email hannah@starkandwhimsy.com and I will work to fix the issue.

Order Changes and Cancellations

If you wish to change or cancel a recent order, please email hannah@starkandwhimsy.com as soon as possible. Most items ship within two business days unless otherwise noted on the product listing. If your order has shipped before you reach out for a cancellation or change, you will need to complete the return or exchange process and pay return shipping costs.
